Who knew what was in store when the groundhog saw his shadow a few weeks ago. Thankfully the winter storm warning for Marshville yielded a less ominous result — about four inches of light snow has blanketed the ground and the warmth of the sun is making rather short work of it. Check out the gallery for some pictures of the winter wonderland. As far as church goes in the morning, we’ll stick to a regular schedule. The parking lot is clear and the sidewalks are too. As always, please use your best judgment in determining whether or not you can get here and get in safely. Tomorrow we celebrate Transfiguration Sunday when we along with Jesus begin to turn our faces to Jerusalem as Lent begins this Wednesday. Hope to see your face here too.
